Rolland Cliffton Namoc, 80, of Hilo died April 6 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Ewa, Oahu, he was a retired adult corrections lieutenant for Kulani Correctional Facility, U.S. Army veteran and member of Big Island Ballroom Dance Club and Kamana Senior Center. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Monday, Apr. 26, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 10 a.m. Private urn service with military honors to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Seating limited; masks and social distancing required. Casual attire. Dr. Steven Willsie Pollard, 78, of Hilo died April 8 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Fremont, Neb., he was a clinical psychologist, abstract artist and U.S. Air Force veteran. Private services. Survived by daughter, Joy (Andrew Stephens) Pollard of Hilo; sons, Michael (Kit Holz) Wagner of Tucson, Ariz., James (Jackie) D. Aiko “Granny” Irei Shiroma, 90, of Waimea died April 3 at home. Born in Wahiawa, Oahu, she was a cashier at Speedy’s Supermarket in Aiea, Oahu, and retired from the former Sure Save Supermarket in Waimea. Services at a later date.
